AsikoPay was founded by Samuel Adeyemi Afuwajomo with a vision to help make cross-border payments between the United Kingdom and African markets simpler, more accessible and better suited to the needs of individuals and growing businesses.
About the Founder
Samuel Adeyemi Afuwajomo is the founder of AsikoPay and a director of ASIKOPAY LIMITED. Born in Nigeria and raised in Ebute Metta, Lagos, his journey has been shaped by resilience, entrepreneurship and a belief that where a person begins should not determine how far they can go.
His entrepreneurial journey spans media, entertainment, digital marketing and logistics. He established Psalmmybee Films & Entertainment in the early 2000s and later founded Asiko Digital Marketing & Logistics in Nigeria in 2021.
Growing up in Ebute Metta helped shape his determination to use opportunity, education and entrepreneurship as positive forces for progress. His experiences also developed a lasting desire to encourage young people from disadvantaged communities to pursue education and build meaningful futures.
Samuel later moved to the United Kingdom to pursue his ambitions and further develop his entrepreneurial experience. His time in the UK provided an opportunity to gain greater exposure to structured business environments, technology and international commerce.
These experiences across Africa and the United Kingdom contributed to the vision behind AsikoPay: to develop a responsible technology platform that can help connect people and businesses across borders, working with appropriate regulated infrastructure and service partners.
The Vision
The long-term vision is to develop AsikoPay into a trusted technology platform supporting accessible cross-border financial connections between the United Kingdom and African markets.
AsikoPay is currently in pre-launch development. Payment and money-remittance services are not yet available through this website. Future services will be subject to applicable regulatory requirements and infrastructure-partner arrangements.
